Introduction

At CBD Vitality UK, we are committed to ensuring that modern slavery and human trafficking are not present in any part of our business or supply chains. This statement sets out our approach to identifying and mitigating the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our operations and supply chains.

Organisational Structure

CBD Vitality UK is a small business with a head office located in London, United Kingdom. Our operations are limited to the United Kingdom and we have a small team of employees that manage all aspects of our business.

Our Supply Chains

As a retailer of CBD products, we work with a variety of suppliers to source our products. We are committed to ensuring that our suppliers comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to modern slavery and human trafficking.

We assess the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains by conducting due diligence on our suppliers. This includes evaluating their policies and practices related to modern slavery and human trafficking, as well as monitoring their compliance with our supplier code of conduct.

Policies and Procedures

We have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking, and we are committed to ensuring that our policies and procedures reflect this commitment. We have implemented the following policies and procedures to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our operations and supply chains:

Supplier Code of Conduct: Our supplier code of conduct sets out our expectations for suppliers with respect to their compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including those related to modern slavery and human trafficking.
Due Diligence: We conduct due diligence on our suppliers to assess the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking in our supply chains.

Assessment of Effectiveness

We will review and update our policies and procedures related to modern slavery and human trafficking on an ongoing basis to ensure that they remain effective. We will also monitor and review our supply chains to identify any potential risks of modern slavery and human trafficking.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and has been approved by the board of directors of CBD Vitality UK.
